We installed a FineVu GX1000 2K+2K front & rear dashcam to this Porsche Taycan EV in Chesterfield. Quad HD recording both front & rear, wifi app access, and the most energy efficient parking mode recording that we have seen to date in a dashcam meaning excellent parking mode recording and management (even more so in an EV!).
All wires are totally hidden and run alongside existing Porsche vehicle wiring looms, we aim for the best aesthetically pleasing look that almost looks like a factory install.
The driver wont even notice they are there yet they can be accessed instantly using the smartphone phone app if required.

The Finevu dashcam is connected durectly into the Porsche fusebox in spare sockets and can be easily removed. The dashcam parking mode can be changed according to your requirements within the app. This allows the cameras to be powered whilst parked and your vehicle will benefit from excellent parking mode recording. All fully automatic.
Parking mode is alerted to pedestrians that walk near the car with a glowing LED light that jumps into action and starts flashing when movement is detected.
If an impact is detected whilst the Porsche Taycan is parked, an audio notification is given as soon as you enter the car.
When you connect to the dash cam with your phone, you can clearly see where the impact occured with the camera's Ai 2.0 detection mode.
